Short Story #001: The American Individual
My immigration story begins at the age of two, when I immigrated from Maracaibo, Venezuela with my parents and my little sister.
The story continues with my parents indulging in United States of America sponsored values. This creates space and opportunity for Individualistic experiences. Obviously they end up divorced.
The story ends with immigrant siblings trying to find proper space to take up. Raised by parents that understand the value of community but believe in the excitement of an American Individual.
