Day 8: Keep Going
Buenas tarde! What’s good?
The work out/running routine that best works for me is getting it done before I leave for my day time job. That means I set my alarm at 4:10am and I am usually out the door by 4:45ish.
It’s exhausting but since I’ve upgraded my watch to a Garmin 945 in April, my training has become efficient. I am no longer having to plan ahead, I simply input what days I want to have off and follow the training plan that Garmin offers. Right now I’m training to improve my 10k race time. I’m hoping to complete a 10k in under an hour by December.
The illustration I created to go along with this post was inspired by all the running data that my watch gives me. It’s nice to know that my VO2 has increased and that I am able to keep a consistent pace but that all just leads me to more running. If I want to improve my running abilities I need to stay consistent in my running.
I am learning that there is a correlation between staying consistent in my running and better quality runs that eventually becomes a quicker pace doesn’t take as much effort.
My hope is that staying consistent in writing and illustrating will also lead to better content that can be done with less effort. Basically I need to KEEP GOING in this path in order to see an improvement.
Peace Out,
Reibert-Anthony
