Y’all, we made it to February! Woot Woot!
This post is a quick update on my progress.
The images above are some of my favorite quotes from What I Talk About When I Talk About Running by Haruki Murakami. I hope y’all find inspiration from these quotes.
I was surprised at how much I relate to Mr. Murakami when he describes his thoughts (or lack of thoughts) when he is running. In the book he mentioned how he prefers the MD player over an iPod. I could not imagine being able to run comfortably with something as bulky as a MD player. Mr. Murakami mentions that he does not “want to mix music and computers.” This thought process made me think of everything I run with and how I mix music and computers. I’ve made an illustration of MY RUN KIT.
It would be cool if y’all shared what you all run with or what is one thing you never forget when you run. For me I never forget to run with my doggo, Benny.
Looking forward to see what other inspirations I get from reading, What I Talk About When I Talk About Running by Haruki Murakami.
Peace out,
