Day 2: Have patience, but have some Cafecito
Good Morning! Buenos dias!
Today I am writing about having patience in creating this new journey. I am coming to the realization that it takes a lot of patience to grow in anything, but especially in a skill that involves creativity because there will be many failures.
I created this illustration of Cafecito because it is important to have something to encourage and boost your energy on those days that seem like a failure. It is all part of the process in growth. I like to brew my cafecito in a French press, I’ve convinced myself it comes out stronger this way. There is patience involved in making cafecito this way because if I don’t let the coffee grounds brew in the boiling water for long enough then the cafecito taste weak.
I apply this thought process of being patient for the coffee to brew to other areas of my life where I am not being patient.
While being patient is important, it is also important to be vigilant of when you are not using your time efficiently. There needs to be a balance between being patient and progress. If there’s not much improvement or progress in your creative journey, then grab some cafecito and become energized again to find a different way that will get you progressing but remember that patience is still important.
Peace out,
Reibert-Anthony
